I owe a huge gratitude to all the mentors who helped me in my decade in the field: Scott Gaudi, Christopher Kochanek, Geoffrey Bryden, and Nathan McCrady. I also want to thank all the colleagues, classmates, and friends who made this journey such an influential chapter in my life. I always tried to give more back than I received, but this was difficult as everyone was so very generous with their time and thoughts.

I leave knowing the field is in good hands. There is so much work left to be done, so much to discover. But there is a surplus of amazing people to do that work. I’ll be watching from the sidelines, always cheering you all on.
